Our client is a leading national law firm with a substantial public law practice. Growth has created a permanent opportunity for an experienced litigator to work predominantly alongside one of the partners leading the Sydney team, running complex public sector matters end to end.

About the role
The work spans judicial review, administrative law and general commercial disputes for government and public sector clients.
• Managing and conducting litigation in Federal and State jurisdictions
• Advising on judicial review, administrative law and commercial disputes
• Representing clients in mediations, arbitrations and alternative dispute resolution
• Developing litigation strategy and preparing legal submissions
• Building client relationships with pragmatic, commercially focused advice
• Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to thought leadership
What you'll bring
• A minimum of 8 years' post admission experience in public law litigation and dispute resolution
• Current Australian practising certificate
• Experience conducting matters in Federal and State courts
• Exceptional analytical, drafting and problem solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management capability
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
