Use your Social Work or Psychology background to support clients through NES, rebuild confidence and help them secure meaningful sustainable new work.
Use your Social Work or Psychology background to make a real impact in occupational rehabilitation, supporting clients through New Employer Services as they rebuild confidence, explore fresh career pathways and return to meaningful, sustainable work.
My client is a growing Occupational Rehabilitation provider looking for a passionate Social Worker or Provisional Psychologist to join their team as a Rehabilitation Consultant, with a strong focus on New Employer Services.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with people, understanding their barriers, and helping clients take practical steps towards a new employment pathway. You’ll support clients who may be unable to return to their pre-injury employer, helping them identify transferable skills, rebuild confidence, and move towards suitable, sustainable work.

And with a structured induction, supportive leadership, clear career pathways, and a rewarding NES-focused caseload, this is a role where you can build a long-term career in occupational rehabilitation while genuinely changing lives.
About the Role: - Support clients who are unable to return to their pre-injury employer into suitable new employment pathways

- Provide confidence-building, goal setting, and practical support to clients navigating career change after injury
- Liaise with insurers, employers, treating doctors, allied health professionals, and other key stakeholders
- Support clients with psychosocial, adjustment, motivation, and mental health-related barriers
- Develop realistic return-to-work plans focused on sustainable new employment outcomes
- Prepare clear, timely, and professional reports in line with scheme and stakeholder expectations
- Support clients through meaningful vocational transitions
