Job Description
Our client is a specialist personal injury firm in Sydney CBD acting exclusively for plaintiffs. We are looking for a lawyer with 2+ years of post-admission experience to join our workers compensation and work injury damages (WID) practice.
You will manage your own caseload of workers compensation claims, from initial lodgement through to WID proceedings and settlement. This role suits a lawyer who wants to build deep expertise in a practice area with consistent demand and genuine client impact.
What the role involves:
Managing workers compensation claims including weekly payments disputes, medical expenses, permanent impairment, and WID proceedings
Representing clients in the Personal Injury Commission (PIC) and related forums
Providing strategic advice on claim strategy and quantum
Drafting correspondence, submissions, and court documentation
Negotiating settlements and attending mediations and conferences
Working closely with medical experts, rehabilitation providers, and barristers
Salary and Features of the position:
Competitive salary ($100,000 - $160,000+ depending on experience) plus performance bonuses

Requirements:
Admitted solicitor in NSW with 2+ years PAE
