Family Lawyer (Associate to Senior Associate) Join a national specialist family law firm in Sydney CBD as an Associate or Senior Associate. This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working available and salary of $120,000 to $190,000 + super, depending on experience.

About the role
You will manage a diverse family law caseload from initial consultation through to resolution, with genuine autonomy and support from experienced senior lawyers. The work includes both day-to-day family law matters and more complex files involving layered asset structures and sensitive client issues.
- Manage parenting disputes, property settlements, divorce, spousal maintenance and binding financial agreements
- Handle complex and high-net-worth matters involving trusts, corporate structures, self-managed superannuation funds and multi-jurisdictional assets
- Prepare court documents, affidavits, financial statements and submissions
- Represent clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia
- Conduct negotiations, mediations and conciliation conferences
- Advise on recent Family Law Act reforms, including family violence changes affecting parenting and property matters
- Mentor junior lawyers and legal assistants at Senior Associate level
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management
What you'll bring - Admitted as a Solicitor in NSW, or eligible for admission
- Minimum 2 years PAE for Associate level
- 5+ years PAE for Senior Associate level
- Demonstrated experience managing family law matters with growing complexity and autonomy
- Strong technical knowledge of the Family Law Act 1975, Court rules and recent legislative changes
- Excellent written and verbal advocacy skills
- Compassionate, client-focused approach
- Commercial awareness and strong file management skills
