About the Position: This is a rare opportunity for an Insurance Lawyer or Senior Associate to join a team that prioritises
how you work as much as
what you work on. You’ll work on a strong mix of
public liability and recoveries files, collaborating closely with senior lawyers and partners across states.
The role offers flexibility to work from home, set your own hours, and be part of a legal environment where your voice is heard and your wellbeing is supported.
You’ll contribute to complex litigation, receive regular peer check-ins, and enjoy a calendar of team events that build connection, even when working remotely.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage public liability and recoveries files from start to finish with autonomy
- Draft legal advice and provide insights on liability, strategy, and claim value
- Appear at mediations, hearings, and work closely with counsel and independent experts
- Support junior lawyers and participate in knowledge sharing across the national team
- Collaborate on cross-office matters with an emphasis on open communication and teamwork
Key Requirements: - Admitted Lawyer with at least 4 years PAE in insurance, litigation or recovery claims (private practice)
- Practising certificate for Queensland (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Ability to manage time and priorities in a flexible working environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-first mindset
- Previous experience with plaintiff or defendant recovery matters will be well regarded
