A highly regarded boutique commercial law firm is seeking a Banking & Finance Lawyer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 2–5 years PAE or a Special Counsel/Partner with an existing client base to step into a role with high-quality work and real autonomy.

The Role:

As a Banking and Finance Lawyer you will be working closely with a well-connected and collaborative Partner on a diverse range of lender-side transactions, primarily in the non-bank and private lending space, with clients including:

• Non-bank lenders (including mezzanine and private lenders)
• Property developers
• Capital and investment groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising lenders from initial term sheet reviews through to settlement
• Structuring transactions and conducting security reviews
• Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, securities, and associated finance documents
• Managing transactions end-to-end, including PEXA setup and monitoring
• Supporting clients with settlements and post-completion matters

Desirable Experience:

• 2-10 years + PAE in Banking/finance law 
• Experience in syndicated loan structures and non-conventional mezzanine deals
• A strong understanding of real estate-backed financing
• Strong client management and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver commercially focused advice
