Our client is a long-standing, locally owned pharmacy group with multiple locations across Bendigo in regional Victoria. Structured around community ownership, the group reinvests back into local health services rather than answering to a distant head office, giving pharmacists a genuine sense of purpose alongside broad clinical variety across dispensing, vaccination and other professional pharmacy services. You will be part of a trusted local institution with strong relationships and continuity of care, not a rotating cast in a national chain.

This is a full-time, 3 month locum placement covering the breadth of community pharmacy practice: dispensing and dispensing checks, patient counselling on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, and delivery of professional services such as vaccinations and dose administration aid packing. The roster involves shift work with some after-hours and weekend rotation, so it suits a pharmacist after a solid, continuous block of full-time hours rather than scattered single-day cover. You will work alongside dispensary technicians and pharmacy assistants, reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, with genuine autonomy in patient-facing professional services.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Current general registration with AHPRA (Pharmacy Board of Australia), unrestricted
• Experience in community or hospital dispensing
• Professional indemnity cover (PDL or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient-focused care
