About the Role

A well-established community pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to join their friendly team. You'll oversee dispensary operations, support professional services, and provide exceptional patient care. With an average of 200 scripts per day on weekdays, this is a dynamic environment where teamwork and communication are key. You'll work alongside another pharmacist, dispensary technicians, and pharmacy assistants — with the opportunity to lead as the sole pharmacist at times.
 
What's on Offer

• $55-$60/hr + super (depending on experience)
• Accommodation allowance available
• Sponsorship opportunities for suitable candidates
• Supportive team: 2 dispensary staff, 5 pharmacy assistants, and another pharmacist
• Z Dispense software in use (training can be provided)
• Flexible full-time roster - 38 hours per week
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day dispensary operations as Pharmacist in Charge
• Dispense and check prescriptions accurately using Z Dispense
• Provide vaccinations and professional pharmacy services
• Deliver friendly, patient-focused customer care
• Manage workflow, supervise staff, and ensure pharmacy standards are met
• Assist in Webster packing management and professional service delivery

 
What You'll Need

• Current AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist
• Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge
• Vaccination accreditation preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
• Strong attention to detail and leadership capability
