About the Role As a
Rehabilitation Consultant, you’ll be providing tailored occupational rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from a wide range of physical and psychological injuries. Your day will be a blend of autonomy and collaboration, with support from your team and access to national infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage a varied caseload within workers’ compensation, CTP, life insurance, DVA and employer-funded schemes.
- Deliver psychosocial support and case management, backed by rehabilitation assistants to ease administrative load.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments: initial, workplace, and vocational, to inform treatment plans and return-to-work strategies.
- Liaise with employers, treating practitioners, and stakeholders to support recovery and sustainable outcomes.
- Design and deliver injury prevention and workplace education programmes.

What you need: - Psychology, Nursing, Social Work or Rehabilitation Counselling degree
- General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC)
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
- Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
