Job Description

My client, an incredible forward thinking, family owned business are expanding, growing and continuing pitting a stamp in the occupational rehabilitation space are looking for a new team member.

Are you a driven Psychologist with a passion for mentoring others and shaping impactful mental health services? This is your opportunity to take the next step in your career, joining a leading Occupational Rehabilitation provider in a role that blends clinical expertise, leadership, and genuine influence. You'll begin with a reduced caseload, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: building and nurturing a high-performing team of Psychologists within a supportive and dynamic environment.

In this newly created leadership role, you'll play a key part in developing a team that delivers exceptional, evidence-based psychological services. You'll guide, mentor, and empower others while contributing to strategic growth across the mental health stream of the organisation. With the backing of a nationally recognised provider known for early intervention and life-changing outcomes, you’ll have the platform and support to shape not just client journeys, but your team’s future, too.

About the Role:

  • Mentor, support, and grow a team of Psychologists and Rehabilitation Consultants to deliver impactful, evidence-based services.
  • Foster a psychologically safe and collaborative team environment where continuous learning and client-centred care thrive.
  • Provide clinical guidance on complex cases while maintaining a small, manageable caseload to allow a focus on leadership.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and professional development to empower your team with strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine service delivery models and ensure psychological principles are embedded in practice.
  • Build strong working relationships with treating professionals, employers, insurers, and other stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
  • Support the implementation of early intervention and psychological strategies, and review documentation to maintain compliance and quality standards.
  • Occasionally step in to conduct assessments or case conferences to support staff and model best-practice approaches.

What you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counsellor 
  • Full AHPRA or ASORC registration 
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Passionate about quality, growth, and mentoring
  • Confident leader with strong people skills
  • Skilled in designing and delivering training
