Job Description

As a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you play a pivotal role in shaping the recovery journeys of those you support. Far beyond just contributing to their rehabilitation, you serve as a strategic leader, guiding and mentoring both participants and junior consultants through complex and often challenging processes. With your expertise, you provide crucial advocacy and education, ensuring that each individual you work with receives the comprehensive care they deserve. What you will be doing:
  • Providing support for clients to help restore their functional performance, delivering a successful outcome and return to work.
  • Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
  • Liaising and coordinating with various stakeholders, providing viable solutions and recommendations for clients
  • Conducting assessments to guide clients toward new career paths
  • Collaborating with treatment providers to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
  • Developing graduated return-to-work plans by liaising with doctors regarding appropriate timeframes and goals
  • Case managing complex physical and psychological issues and coordinating with treating health professionals

What you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapist or  Exercise Physiology
  • Full AHPRA or ESSA Registration 
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A commitment to excellence, with a passion for helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans
