About the Role
You will handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, working with high-profile businesses, franchisors, and corporate clients. The role involves:
Franchising disputes, including disputes arising from the Franchising Code of Conduct.
Real estate commission, acquisition and rent roll disputes.
Breaches of restraints of trade arising from employment matters, sale of business and shares.
Retail and commercial leasing disputes, including mediation with the NSW Small Business Commissioner and litigation in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal and superior courts.
Contract disputes and breach of statutory warranties under the Australian Consumer Law.
Intellectual property disputes, including oppositions to trademark registration and applications for revocation.
Building and construction disputes, acting for builders and developers.
Requirements:
2-10 years PAE + Litigation.
Demonstrated knowledge of commercial litigation.
The ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with clients.
