Salary range and features of the position: - $100,000 - $150,000

About the position: Our client is looking for a
Family Lawyer (2– 5 PAE) to join their growing Sydney team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to a genuine mix of files (not just one narrow slice of family law), build strong client relationships, and develop confidence running matters end-to-end with guidance from senior practitioners.
You’ll work across a varied caseload that may include:
- Parenting matters (including interim applications, recovery orders, and risk issues)
- Property settlements (including company/trust structures and financial disclosure)
- Consent orders, subpoenas, and complex negotiations
- Mediations, conciliations, and dispute resolution conferences
- Drafting and advising on Binding Financial Agreements (where appropriate)
- Preparation for court events, briefs to Counsel, and instructing in hearings

Requirements: - 2–5 years’ PAE in Family Law
- experience handling litigation and complex files, or readiness to step into more sophisticated matters
- strong drafting, negotiation and courtroom capability
- polished and professional communication
- a proactive, organised approach to practice
- comfort working toward around 5 billable hours daily
