Our client is a highly regarded and growing legal practice based in Springfield, QLD, with a strong reputation in family law and additional offerings across Property, Commercial, and Wills & Estates. Their office environment is warm, welcoming, and people-focused — a place where everyone looks out for each other and works together to achieve the best outcomes for clients. This is a firm that values relationships, both with clients and within the team, and places strong emphasis on collaboration, support, and mentorship.

About the Position: An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Family Lawyer (1–3 years PAE) to join our client’s dynamic and close-knit family law team. If you're seeking a workplace where you can grow in confidence and skill while being guided by approachable, experienced professionals — this is it.

You’ll work across a variety of meaningful family law matters including parenting arrangements, property disputes, and financial settlements. You won’t be left to figure things out alone — you’ll be supported every step of the way with one-on-one mentorship, team brainstorming sessions, and open-door access to your colleagues. The team is small enough to feel like a family and experienced enough to support your growth into a confident, capable family lawyer.

With a realistic billable target of 4.5–5 hours per day, you’ll have space to focus on quality work, learning, and career progression — not just numbers.

Key Requirements:
  • Admitted to practise in Queensland
  • 1–3 years PAE in family law
  • Friendly, team-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive environment
  • Ability to manage and progress files with guidance
On Offer:
  • Competitive salary between $90,000–$130,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Supportive team culture with strong collegiality
  • Mentorship from senior lawyers who genuinely care
  • Clear career development track with future leadership potential
  • Work-from-home options available
  • Healthy work-life balance and respect for your time
  • A workplace where you’ll feel welcomed, valued, and supported
