The Opportunity:

We are recruiting an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist / Specialist / VMO (FRANZCP) to provide clinical leadership and patient care within an Acute Inpatient Unit in Western Sydney.

Take advantage of a flexible psychiatry locum role within one of NSW's busiest and most well-supported metropolitan mental health services.

This acute inpatient opportunity offers stable block work across three days per week, with on-call responsibilities and the option to contribute to ECT.

• 3 days per week, with on-call commitment
• Block booking from September through December
• Well-established mental health service within Western Sydney Local Health District
• Daily rate up to $3,000/day

Clinical Environment:

• Manage diverse acute inpatient caseloads
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of registrars, nurses, and allied health
• Access to ECT sessions (desirable but not mandatory)
• Strong consultant network within a major Sydney LHD

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA Specialist Registration (FRANZCP)
• Psychiatry Consultant / Specialist / VMO experience
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete hospital onboarding and credentialing
