The Opportunity:

Step into a dynamic Emergency Department role with Hunter New England Local Health District, offering high-quality locum opportunities across a mix of regional and metropolitan hospitals.


Clinical Environment - What You'll Gain:

• Manage a broad range of presentations including trauma, paediatrics, acute medical, and psychiatric emergencies
• Exposure to high-volume tertiary EDs as well as smaller rural departments, enhancing adaptability and skillset
• Close supervision and collaboration with FACEM consultants and multidisciplinary emergency teams
• Gain confidence in resuscitation, procedural skills, and acute decision-making
• Ideal preparation for doctors pursuing emergency or critical care training pathways

Eligibility:

• AHPRA General Registration (or above)
• Minimum PGY2+ with Emergency Department experience
• NSW Working with Children Check + Police Check
• Australian working rights
• Ability to complete hospital credentialing

What's Provided:

• Up to $250/hour, based on level and site
• Travel and accommodation included for locum doctors
• Dedicated compliance and credentialing support
