Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking RMOs, Registrars, and Consultants to support a wide range of hospital departments across its regional network throughout 2025.

You'll have the opportunity to work in a mix of inpatient and acute care settings, with rosters tailored to your skills, experience, and availability.

Shifts are available in:
Emergency, General Medicine, ICU, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Anaesthetics, Surgery, Paediatrics and more. 

Whether you're after one-off coverage, regular weekends, or long-term block bookings, this locum offering is ideal for doctors looking to broaden their experience, enhance their income, and enjoy variety and flexibility.

Clinical Environment - What You'll Gain:

• Rotations across high-demand specialties, ideal for broadening clinical exposure and preparing for exams or advanced training
• Practice in supportive regional hospitals with on-site Consultant leadership and multidisciplinary teams
• Clear clinical protocols, reliable escalation processes, and structured handovers

Eligibility Criteria:

• General or Specialist AHPRA Registration
• PGY2+ (RMO), PGY3+ (Registrar), or FRACP/FRANZCOG/FRANZCA/FACEM etc. (Consultants)
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing
