The Opportunity:

Murrumbidgee Local Health District is seeking a skilled Anaesthetics Registrar or Consultant to commence ASAP for an initial up to 3-month placement, with strong potential for extension.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Anaesthetics, providing care across scheduled theatre lists and procedural support during regular hours.

Ideal for doctors seeking a work-life balance while maintaining high-level clinical engagement in a regional setting.

Clinical Environment:

• Provide anaesthesia across elective surgical, obstetric, and procedural cases
• Collaborate daily with the Head of Anaesthetics and multidisciplinary teams
• No weekend or after-hours work – maximise your work-life balance
• Excellent opportunity for registrars preparing for FANZCA or consultants seeking a rural change
• Experience a varied caseload in a well-equipped, collaborative environment

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
• FANZCA or PGY5+ with recent anaesthetics experience
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing
