The Opportunity:

Hunter New England LHD is seeking Orthopaedic SRMOs or Registrars to support surgical teams with ward rounds, emergency consults, operating theatre lists, and after-hours cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for SRMOs or Registrars seeking hands-on surgical experience in a supportive and well-structured team.


Clinical Environment - What You'll Gain:

• Exposure to fracture clinics, trauma cases, elective surgery and emergency presentations
• Opportunity to assist in theatre, manage ward patients and respond to consults
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including orthopaedic consultants, registrars, and nursing staff
• Gain valuable experience towards SET training or surgical subspecialty applications

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA General Registration
• PGY3+ with prior surgical or orthopaedics experience
• NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements

• Up to $200/hour depending on experience and shift type
• Travel and private accommodation arranged
• Full credentialing and scheduling support
