Job Description

A gorgeous, tranquil private practice servicing the Langwarrin area are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join their team of nine clinicians comprising of Psychologists and Mental Health Social Workers. The practice accepts referrals from a wide range of third party services and are excited by the prospect of bringing a dynamic practitioner onboard.

Clinicians who have experience with children and/or adolescent clients will be highly regarded.

  • Remuneration: Take home up to $160/hr on a flexible subcontracting agreement, or negotiate a competitive salary package up to $115k + Super (dependent on experience).
  • Admin Support: Have initial intake, diary management, billing and appointment reminders taken care of by a dedicated admin team allowing you to focus on clinical work.
  • Plentiful Referrals: The clinic accepts referrals from VOCAT, NDIS, TAC, Private Hospitals and GPs, Orange Door, Medicare and more!
  • Caseload: Tailor your caseload to your areas of expertise and interest with a wide range of presentations being referred to the practice, including but not limited to Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Neurodiversity, BPD and Grief & Loss.
  • Professional Development: Have access to a board approved Clinical supervisor alongside regular peer/group supervision.

Your duties will include:
  • Providing therapies to a diverse caseload of clients with a KPI of 5 clients per day for salaried employees.
  • Engaging in a weekly meeting to discuss allocation of referrals and any other business.
  • Maintaining the reputation of the clinic across the sector by providing exceptional care and preserving relationships with referring parties.
  • Using a trauma-informed approach when providing therapies to clients.
Requirements/Skills:
  • AHPRA registration as a General Psychologist
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Working with Children and Police Checks as required
  • Clinicians who have experience with children and/or adolescent clients will be highly regarded.
