Job Description

As a thriving company, they have recently opened a state-of-the-art clinic situated in the heart of Melbourne's Kew suburb. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate and gain knowledge from a sizable team of clinical experts across various fields.

Your role will include:
  • Working with a range of NDIS and private clients
  • Clients from ages 3-65 with a wide variety of intellectual and physical disabilities or have a caseload that is tailored to your area of specialty
  • Range of clients includes paediatrics, ASD and mental health/neurological conditions in addition to physical disabilities
  • Your role can also consist of functional capacity assessments, skill development, equipment prescriptions, home modifications, housing assessments and more
  • Client referrals will be tailored based on your interest area - see clients in a radius no more than 20 minutes from your home location
  • Work from their new clinic located in Kew and visit clients at homes or schools within the local community in the eastern suburbs
You'll be supported by:
  • Weekly 1:1 supervision provided by your team leader
  • Group supervision provided every 3 weeks
  • Team leads attend joint visits with clients if needed to ensure you are feeling supported
  • Structured new graduate support schedule across your first year
  • 4 week formal induction program - they focus on the development of their staff!

Requirements/Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration (current or upcoming)
  • Drivers license and vehicle
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
