Role Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of employment issues, including workplace disputes, discrimination, contract negotiations, and compliance with employment laws.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct workplace investigations and advise on risk management strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in employment law and ensure clients are informed of relevant developments.
- Achieve all billable targets (4.5-6 hours per day)
- Mentor Junior Lawyers and Graduates on PLT
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases and contribute to a team-oriented environment
What Do I need?
- You will need 5+ PAE in Employment Law, from a Private Practice background is desirable
- Approved unrestricted practising licence in Queensland
- Track record of achieving goals and targets in Employment Law
- Good attitude and passion for Employment Law
- Ability to work self-sufficient and as part of a team
