Join our nationally recognised Occupational Rehabilitation provider in the heart of beautiful Adelaide as a Rehabilitation Counsellor. Utilise your empathy, experience, and passion to deliver a wide range of services addressing the social, physical, psychological, and financial impacts of workplace injuries and illnesses. Collaborate with a dedicated team united by a shared objective: to seamlessly guide individuals through the recovery journey, helping them return to improved health and productivity faster.

What you will be doing:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' abilities, limitations, and needs.
  • Develop individualised rehabilitation plans with realistic goals and interventions.
  • Identify RTW psychological barriers
  • Provide emotional and psychological support, helping clients cope with their conditions.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, employers, and other stakeholders to facilitate rehabilitation.
  • Assist clients in exploring career options and support job placement and vocational training.
  • Educate clients and families about the rehabilitation process and advocate for clients' rights.
  • Monitor clients' progress, adjusting plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Offer crisis intervention and refer clients to appropriate emergency services when necessary.

What you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling 
  • Full ASORC Registration 
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
