Overview:

Essendon Based Law firm experiencing rapid growth needs the assistance of an enthusiastic and capable litigation lawyer to keep up with their on-going case-load. This is an opportunity for a junior solicitor to join a small, tight-knit team, get hands on experience with a broad range of novel matters, and develop their litigation and dispute resolution skills.

Conditions for Success:

• Minimum 2-4 Years PQE with experience in Commercial Litigation
• Able to work autonomously
• Ability to prioritise and manage matters effectively.
• Intuitive, Enthusiastic and Personable Approach.
• Able to work collaboratively and support each other.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored advice to clients to ensure an optimal outcome.
• Establish and maintain client relationships and expectations through regular and effective communication.
• Minimum  ~5-5.5 Billable Hours per day loosely expected
• Draft relevant legal documents for cases.
• Keep in view the broader perspective and integrate other commercial and client-related factors while handling your cases.
• Types of cases you will assist on: disputes relating to small to medium businesses, business/franchise transactions, TM disputes, construction disputes, to name a few
• Manage and prioritise your cases and files with attention to detail.

Benefits:

• Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 - subject to experience
