A leading national insurance practice is seeking an experienced Senior Associate with strong financial lines, complex coverage, and professional indemnity experience to join their Sydney team. About the Role You will act for major insurers, reinsurers, and insured professionals across a broad range of matters, including:

• Financial lines and complex coverage advice
• Directors’ & officers’ liability
• Professional indemnity claims for a range of professions
• Policy interpretation, liability assessment and strategic advice
• Managing files autonomously and contributing to major national matters
• Coaching junior lawyers and contributing to team development

Key Requirements

• 6+ years PAE in insurance law
• Experience across financial lines, coverage, D&O and/or professional indemnity
• Ability to manage matters autonomously from start to finish
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commercial, solutions-focused mindset
• Ability to mentor junior lawyers and collaborate in a cohesive team
