About the position: This is not your standard Associate opportunity. Our client is offering the chance to join one of Australia's most respected
Restructuring & Insolvency teams, known not only for its top-tier client base and challenging matters but also for a supportive, down-to-earth team culture.
Working closely with a highly regarded Partner, you’ll be advising and representing a diverse group of clients including company directors, administrators, liquidators, and receivers. Your matters will include:
- Voluntary administrations and liquidations
- Corporate restructuring and workouts
- Enforcement and recovery actions
- PPSA advisory and litigation
- Complex commercial disputes arising from insolvency scenarios
The team is known for going toe-to-toe with top-tier firms while maintaining a strong sense of camaraderie and mutual support. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take on more responsibility and be involved in some of the most challenging and career-defining cases in the insolvency and restructuring space.
Key Requirements: - Minimum 4 years PAE, ideally with experience in commercial litigation or insolvency
- Strong legal drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills
- A strategic mindset with commercial acumen
- Proven ability to manage matters proactively and collaboratively
- Passion for insolvency law and a desire to grow in this practice area
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
