The Opportunity:

Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Resident Medical Officers (PGY2+) to support multiple departments across its hospital network.

Clinical Environment:

• Exposure to a diverse range of clinical presentations across disciplines
• Work under consultant and registrar supervision in well-supported teams
• Opportunities to build confidence in ward rounds, documentation, admissions, and discharge planning
• Excellent support from nursing, allied health, and administrative teams
• Ideal experience for junior doctors working toward training pathways or seeking generalist development

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA General Registration
• PGY2+ with recent hospital-based experience
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing

What's Provided:

• Up to $150/hour, depending on experience and department
• Travel and accommodation fully covered
• Block bookings or ad hoc shifts throughout 2026
• Credentialing, compliance, and logistics support included

Location - Hunter New England LHD, NSW:
