The Opportunity:

Hunter New England LHD is seeking a General Medicine Consultant to provide inpatient support across a busy regional facility.
 
You'll be responsible for managing general medicine patients, conducting ward rounds, attending clinical reviews and providing on-call support across a 24-hour period.
 
Registrars are rostered as first on-call during daytime hours, ensuring strong team collaboration.
 
Clinical Environment – What You’ll Gain:

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA Specialist Registration
• FRACP (General Medicine) or equivalent
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Willingness to complete hospital credentialing and onboarding

What’s Provided:

• $2,000/shift

• Block bookings or flexible shifts throughout 2025
