Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Registrar – General Medicine to cover inpatient unit (IPU) shifts at a regional hospital within the Northern NSW Local Health District. You'll be part of a team of three rotating registrars, delivering high-quality ward-based medical care.
Shift times: 07:00–17:30 (IPU coverage)
Shared clinical on-call: 17:30–21:00, rotating between 3 registrars
When on-call:
Paid 1 hour at your locum rate, plus
Additional pay for any time spent on calls or hospital return
Accommodation provided + travel reimbursed (flights or mileage)
Opportunity to contribute to patient care, ward rounds, discharge planning, and team coordination
Clinical Environment:
Inpatient general medicine ward with varied medical case mix
Strong support from Consultant Physicians, RMO teams, and nursing staff

Eligibility Criteria:
General or Provisional AHPRA Registration
PGY3+ with General Medicine or Physician Training experience
NSW Working with Children Check
