Job Description

Join a community-based, member-owned centre just steps from Newport station, renowned for strong patient loyalty and minimal staff turnover, supported by a dedicated team of experienced doctors, nurses, and managers.

What’s On Offer:
  • 70% billings, $170/hr guaranteed for 3 months & bonus potential
  • Mixed billing: Item 23 at $85 (members) / $105 (non-members); concession bulk-billing
  • Flexible full-/part-time roster via Automed (appointments, walk-ins), no exclusivity
  • Nurse-led treatment/procedure rooms 5 days/week for skin work & minor removals
  • Monthly team meetings, accredited CPD & scope to expand specialities (e.g. women’s health)
About the Practice:
  • Member-owned clinic a 3-min walk from Newport station and 15 min to the CBD
  • Close-knit team: 5 GP partners, treatment-room nurse, managers & long-tenured reception staff
  • Onsite parking in a family-friendly suburb with top public and private schools
  • Modern facilities (pathology, imaging, skin services) transitioning to Best Practice

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to a diverse patient base
  • Drive quality improvements in collaboration with the clinical team
  • Engage in monthly meetings and ongoing professional development
  • Perform procedures (mole removals, infusions, vaccinations) in nurse-led rooms
Requirements:
  • FRACGP/FACRRM (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration with valid CPR
  • Australian work rights and experience in mixed-billing general practice
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
