Experienced Dentist role in Sydney's Western Suburbs - new clinic opening July 2026 with digital workflow.

Job Description

About the company
Our client is opening a brand-new, community-focused clinic in the Silverdale region, NSW, due to launch in July 2026. The practice is being built for long-term growth, with space to expand and a strong local need for accessible, high-quality dentistry.
You’ll be supported by a wider network of clinicians through regular collaboration sessions, while still enjoying autonomy day-to-day.

About the position
Our client is looking for one experienced Dentists to join our client’s team as the clinic opens. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys working independently, providing comprehensive care in-house, and helping shape how a new practice grows from day one.

You’ll initially work solo (with a plan to expand support as patient flow builds), delivering a broad range of dentistry with a strong focus on minimising external referrals wherever clinically appropriate.

Typical procedures you may provide include:
  • Comprehensive exams, treatment planning and emergency dentistry
  • Restorative dentistry (composite fillings, crowns, bridges)
  • Surgical extractions and management of complex cases
  • Root canal therapy and pain management
  • Implants (including implant planning) and All-on-X support where appropriate
  • Cosmetic dentistry (whitening, veneers, smile makeovers)
  • Digital dentistry workflows (intraoral scanning, guided planning, modern lab integration)
Key requirements
  • AHPRA registration (or eligibility) and current professional indemnity insurance
  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience as a practicing Dentist
  • High clinical confidence working independently and managing a full book
  • Comfortable offering a wide scope of treatment with an in-house mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, patient-first approach
  • Availability for 4 days per week initially, with flexibility across Monday - Saturday
On offer Our client offers a rare chance to step into a new clinic build with the tools and clinical scope to match your ambition:
  • Modern 2-chair / 2-surgery setup with room to scale
  • Implant and surgical dentistry capability with the right equipment available
  • Strong digital focus (scanner-led workflow and advanced clinical tech)
  • Autonomy to practice with clinical confidence and build loyal patient relationships
  • A growth pathway as the clinic expands (additional rooms, OHT support for preventive care)
  • Ongoing professional connection via bi-monthly clinician collaboration sessions
