Job Description

Looking to do meaningful work with children in a supportive, well-run practice? This opportunity could be the perfect fit! 

This clinic has been a cornerstone of paediatric care in Newcastle for over 20 years with their wonderful team of experienced Child and Adolescent Psychologists. They’re looking for a kind, capable Registered/ Clinical Psychologist to join their team. If you enjoy working with kids and want a stable, well-supported environment where you can grow professionally, this is your chance.

Options available to work anywhere between 3-5 days per week.

  • Generous Pay + Bonuses: Registered Psychologists can earn $95k-$100k+ Super (pro rata), Clinical Psychologists earn $120k+ super. Hit your targets? Earn up your pay by $10k-$15k a year!

  • Professional Development: Receive a PD allowance of $1,500. Work amongst an experienced team of professionals offering top supervision.

  • Flexible Working Hours: Preference to work full-time, with part-time options available for 3 days+. Opportunities to work 1 day a week in a school-based environment too!

Your duties will include:
  • Providing exceptional therapy and support to children with a full caseload.
  • Managing 25 billable hours a week, which includes both face-to-face sessions and reporting hours.
  • Maintaining relationships with referring doctors and allied health practitioners.
  • Clients predominantly sourced from private and GP referral streams.
Requirements/Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers
