Psychologist opportunity in an established private practice in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs with ownership of your schedule, rates and caseload.
Our client are looking for an independent, knowledgeable
Psychologist to work alongside the existing team of eight Allied Health professionals, including Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, and Psychologists. The practice has been operating for over a decade with a fantastic local reputation and robust network of referring GPs.
The practice accepts referrals for clients across the lifespan, so previous experience working with Children or Adolescents would be beneficial to application.

- Admin Support: The practice is supported by an expert administrative team who look after Reception Duties, Appointment Scheduling and Billing, and is also utilising an efficient Practice Management Software.
- Diverse Caseload: Broaden your professional horizons with access to a wide range of referrals, with mild to moderate presentations including Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Relational Difficulties and Neurodiversity.
- Flexibility Around KPIs: The practice expects clinicians to see a minimum of 4 clients for 50-minute sessions per day, however there is capacity for you to see up to 8 clients in a day if you wish.
- Set Your Own Rates: Have the trust and autonomy to set your own session fees, with 60% of this going to the clinician.
Your duties will include:
- Providing ongoing therapy to a wide demographic of clientele across the lifespan.
- Establishing and maintaining good relationships with referring doctors and allied health practitioners to promote client-centred care
- Maintaining accurate case notes, manage client files, and uphold all legal and ethical standards in your practice.
About you: - Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of GP MHTPs, WorkSafe, TAC and NDIS
- Experience with Halaxy or similar clinical patient management systems would be beneficial
- Be proficient in evidence based therapies, including but not limited to CBT, ACT, and positive psychology interventions
- Hold a tertiary Psychology qualification
- AHPRA Registered as a Registered or Clinical Psychologist
- Holds Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
