  • Salaries starting from $77,000 - $105,000 + Super 
  • work with a paediatric caseload in clinic settings within a MDT
  • Specialise in working with children presenting with ASD 
This role based in Townsville are seeking a passionate occupational therapist to join their team!

Full time and part time roles available, all levels of experience encouraged to apply!

  • 3 week Structured onboarding - Observational period, daily check in's, work shadowing and NDIS report support

Your Role:

You will work within an early childhood setting alongside other allied health professionals and early childhood teachers supporting clients with ASD within a class room setting. You will spend 60% of your time "on the floor" where you will spend 1:1 time with 4 children each day supporting them with their therapy goals. 

The other 40% of your time, you'll spend doing clinical admin, report writing, taking notes, liaising with other services providers, parent coaching or engaging in professional development.

Support:
  • Weekly or fortnightly supervision with a Senior OT 
  • Peer mentoring - collaborate with other OT's and SP's
  • Recieve feedback and support on your NDIS reports and documentation from the leadership team
  • Access a flexible professional development allowance to undertake external training courses
  • LOTS of formal and informal opportunities for multidisciplinary learning 
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia 
  • Drivers licence and own vehicle
