In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Become an ACAT Assessor: Complete paid training (40–50 hours) and be supported into an accredited ACAT role AND/OR
• Deliver Home Care Support: Work directly with clients to assess, prescribe, and support essential aged care interventions.

  • Salaries from $88,000 – $123,000 depending on your experience
  • ACAT Assessors: $50/hr+  
• Flexible Working & Manageable Caseload:
  
  • ACAT - Maximum 2 assessments/day & admin
  • Home Care Support: You manage your own schedule (admin books initials)
  • Admin support for intake and billing
  • Maxiumum 4.5-5 billables a day (only for Home Care Support)
• Professional Development & Supervision:
  
  • $2,500 CPD Allowance + PD leave (anually)
  • All ACAT Training provided - undertake 40-50 hours of training from when you start to become a certified ACAT assessor 
  • Access a dedicated assessment team to help answer all your questions and provide support
  • Clinical Supervision: Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly with a Senior Occupational Therapist specialising in Aged Care
  • Opportunities for leadership roles in a developing aged care team
• Structured Induction:
  
  • Online and in-person onboarding
  • Gradual ramp-up of caseload over 3 months
  • Supervised introduction to assessment frameworks

Services You’ll Deliver

• ACAT assessments in aged care facilities and the community
• Home Care Support therapy including:
  
  • Falls prevention & mobility support
  • Equipment prescription & home modification assessments
  • Restorative and reablement programs
  • Pain management, pressure care, wound care

About You

• AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist
• Eager to support older adults through assessment and community intervention
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence (travel reimbursed)
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
