Job Description

This leading community provider offers Occupational Therapy services to clients across a range of sectors, including NDIS, aged care, and home care, catering to individuals of all ages and abilities. This presents a unique opportunity for their staff to gain exposure to a variety of conditions and expand their skill set.

In addition, the company places a strong emphasis on providing impressive flexibility to their clinicians while maintaining a robust support structure. You can structure your day how you choose with the option for flexible working hours and days, and referrals are limited to your local area to suit your convenience. This allows you to prioritize work-life balance and achieve a fulfilling career in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Remuneration is between: $80K - $130K + super + travel allowance + PD!

The day to day:
  • Mobile role with referrals to clients limited to your local area - travel no more than 20 minutes from your home
  • Work with clients across an NDIS, Home Care Package, private and TAC caseload or tailor your caseload to your preference
  • Work across the lifespan or with a specific age range based on your preferences
  • Complete report writing and admin from their Footscray office OR from home
  • Caseload includes but is not limited to: daily living assessments, ASD, functional assessments, home modifications, assistive technology and more
Flexibility for clinicians includes:
  • Structure their day how you choose with the option for flexible working hours and days.
  • Referrals are limited to your local area, allowing clinicians to prioritize work-life balance.
  • Both part-time and full-time options are available.
  • The caseload is diverse, and clinicians can tailor their caseload to their preference.
  • Clinicians can work across the lifespan or with a specific age range based on their preferences.
  • Report writing and admin can be completed from the office or from home.
  • There are no micromanaging and no KPIs, allowing clinicians to focus on their growth and learning as an OT.
The Support:
  • Weekly - fortnightly supervision provided to therapists based on their needs and level of experience
  • Receive peer support within your team and from your team leader
  • Education days once per month focusing on complex cases or with external guest speakers
  • Fortnightly discipline specific team meetings with the option to be based from home or at their office
  • Monthly presentations by senior clinicians to share knowledge and learning
  • Regular formal and informal catch ups to ensure you're comfortable in your position

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum 1 year postgraduate experience
  • Drivers license and vehicle
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
