Our client is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their multi-disciplinary West Melbourne service.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and design, implement and monitor behaviour support interventions for people with disability exhibiting behaviours of concern
  • Deliver timely, efficient and effective behaviour support services aligned to participant and family/carer goals
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate support strategies in accordance with all relevant legislative and ethical requirements
  • Collaborate closely with participants, families, carers and the wider support network to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain awareness of KPIs: Whilst exceptional healthcare remains the priority, you will work consistently to achieve agreed targets

Essential requirements
  • Current registration with the Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core, Proficient, Advanced and/or Specialist)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering behaviour support to children, adolescents and/or adults with complex support needs (e.g. mental health diagnoses, health needs, complex trauma)
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a registered vehicle
