Job Description

Our client is a well-established organisation operating in the Disability, Sports and Wellness space. Starting over a decade ago as a Chiropractor business, this organisation now boasts six locations across Metro Melbourne, supporting diverse client groups in reaching their full potential.

This is where you, as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, come in!

Key Role Details:
  • Type of Employment: Full-time or Part-time (minimum 4 days) & Permanent
  • Location: Northern Suburbs - Melbourne
  • Caseload: Diverse, involving high-quality support in home or community settings (schools, group homes)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop personalised, evidence-based positive behaviour support plans aligned with clients' goals and NDIS plans
  • Conduct functional assessments in various environments
  • Provide therapeutic interventions for emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills enhancement
  • Flexibility for home-based reporting and administrative tasks
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in a related field
  • Registration: Core, Proficient or Advanced registration with the NDIS Commission
  • Experience: Minimum 12 months in positive behaviour support
  • Characteristics: Passionate, fun-loving, and committed to meaningful client outcomes
  • Other Requirements: Australian driver’s licence, WWCC, satisfactory police check
