Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a pharmacist seeking variety, meaningful clinical work, and a strong sense of community. This split role offers 2.5 days providing on-site aged care pharmacy services across facilities in Woonona, Corrimal and Tarrawanna, paired with 2.5 days in a busy, well-supported community pharmacy in Illawarra's Northern Suburbs. With a team of 4–5 pharmacists already onsite in the community setting, you’ll be joining a collaborative environment where support is always available.


This role is ideal for pharmacists who love building relationships, enjoy clinical service delivery, and want to grow their aged care and medication management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site aged care services across multiple facilities
  • Conduct medication reviews, audits and liaise with aged care staff
  • Ensure safe medication management and adherence to facility protocols
  • Dispense and check prescriptions using Fred
  • Provide counselling, professional services and support within the community pharmacy
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacists, techs and assistants

What You’ll Need

  • Current AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Genuine interest in aged care and clinical pharmacy services
  • Ability to work autonomously in aged care environments
  • Willingness to undertake HMR/aged care accreditation (fully supported)
