About the Company

Our client operates a well-established community pharmacy business on the Mornington Peninsula, with two stores each in need of their own Pharmacist in Charge. This is a genuine opportunity to lead the day-to-day running of a busy dispensary and help shape the clinical services on offer.

About the Position

As Pharmacist in Charge, you will manage the daily operations of the dispensary and pharmacy floor, ensuring compliance with all pharmacy legislation, professional standards and regulatory requirements. You will provide high-quality clinical advice and counselling to patients, conduct medication reviews and support quality use of medicines initiatives.

You will lead, mentor and support a team of pharmacists, dispensary technicians and pharmacy assistants, fostering a positive team culture focused on customer service and patient outcomes. Day to day, you will oversee dispensing accuracy, workflow management and stock control, while building and maintaining strong relationships with local healthcare providers and the wider community.

You will also support and drive professional services including vaccinations and health checks, monitor key pharmacy performance indicators, and help ensure a safe, professional and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Two Pharmacist in Charge positions are available, one for each of our client's stores, working a rotating roster across store hours of 8.30am to 8pm.

For pharmacists relocating from Melbourne, our client offers a travel allowance, and company-provided accommodation or relocation assistance is negotiable.

Key Requirements

- Current general registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA (Pharmacy Board of Australia)
- Full Australian work rights
- Professional indemnity cover, for example through the PDL scheme
- Strong clinical and leadership capability, with the confidence to run a dispensary and mentor a team
