Our client is a public health service providing diagnostic imaging to communities across South Australia’s Riverland. The service plays an important role in delivering accessible medical imaging closer to home for regional patients.

You will work within an established imaging team supporting a diverse patient population and contributing to the delivery of high-quality MRI services in a regional healthcare setting.


About the position:

Our client is looking for an experienced Locum MRI Radiographer to join our clients' team from 9 November 2026 for a genuine three-month placement.

You will perform MRI examinations across a varied regional caseload, supporting patients referred from inpatient, outpatient and community healthcare services. This is a strong opportunity for a confident MRI Radiographer who can adapt quickly to an established department and deliver consistent, patient-focused imaging.

The three-month contract provides greater continuity than a short locum assignment, allowing you to settle into the department, become familiar with local workflows and make a meaningful contribution to the regional community.

Outside of work, the Riverland offers a relaxed lifestyle centred around the Murray River, with access to boating, walking trails, local produce and renowned wine-growing areas. Regional centres provide everyday amenities, supermarkets, healthcare services, cafés, sporting facilities and local schooling, making the area practical for an extended placement.


Key Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
• Demonstrated MRI experience in a clinical setting
• Confidence working across a varied MRI caseload
• Current South Australian radiation licence, or eligibility for mutual recognition
• Current National Police Certificate
• Full Australian working rights
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a regional multidisciplinary team
