Job Description

Your Responsibilities:
  • On average, 6.5 billable hours per day are expected of the Senior Solicitors 
  • Establish and maintain client relationships and expectations through regular and effective communication.
  • Draft and interpret relevant legal documents for cases including Awards and Enterprise Agreements, company policies & procedures and Employment Agreements
  • Provide tailored advice to clients on workplace issues such:
    • Employment (and post-employment) rights and obligations,
    • Unfair dismissal 
    • Disciplinary processes
    • Terminations
    • Conducting litigation where appropriate.
Conditions for Success:
  • 6+ Years PQE in Employment law, ideally within an established mid-tier or top-tier law firm
  • Experience in Business Development & readily ability to manage client expectations
  • Adept professional acumen and disposition - proactive, innovative and outcome-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills - Confident approach and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and relevant third parties.
  • Expert analysis of legal matters, research & drafting skills.
  • Able to work autonomously, and as part of a team where necessary.
