Our client is a forward-looking, full-service commercial law firm with an expanding footprint across Melbourne. Known for its human approach and commitment to excellence, the firm partners with developers, investors, lenders, and fintechs to facilitate high-value deals and navigate regulatory complexity. Their next phase of growth includes strengthening key practice groups — and you’ll be instrumental to that.

About the Position:

Join as a Partner in their Banking & Financial Services practice and take charge of cross-jurisdictional lending, regulatory advice, licensing applications, AML matters and fund structuring. You’ll work with an ambitious leadership team — including a hands-on Director — to scale your practice with real support. No micromanagement. No red tape. Just the tools and freedom to perform.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with 8-10 years' PQE in banking, finance or regulatory law
• Proven experience advising on alternative lending, debt and equity transactions
• Portable practice (approx. $200k+) to build from
• Adaptable, team-first mindset
