The role

This is a genuine opportunity for a Senior Construction Lawyer to step into a well-established Construction & Infrastructure team, working closely with senior partners in the practice. The group's scale and reputation attract instructions from tier-one contractors, Commonwealth, state and local government, listed developers and sovereign wealth funds, while still running value-for-money matters for small and mid-sized projects. You'll be backed to develop your own following and take the next real step in your career, with the resourcing and pricing model to make that realistic rather than aspirational.

What you'll be doing

• Advising on construction and project disputes across the full lifecycle
• Running litigation, arbitration and adjudications from instruction through to resolution
• Alternative dispute resolution work, including dispute resolution boards and expert determinations
• Disputes on major infrastructure projects: rail, airports, schools, roads and other civil construction
• Disputes on commercial, residential and retail tower developments, plus industrial and large-scale residential projects

Requirements for this position:

• 5+ years PAE
• Strong drafting and written advocacy
• A collaborative, team-first approach
• Strategic and critical thinking under pressure
• The leadership to help develop a talented junior cohort
