About the position:

This is a senior-level opportunity offering a mix of high-value litigation and insolvency matters. You’ll work independently on complex files, regularly appear in superior courts, and engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:

• Advising on corporate and personal insolvency matters, including liquidations, bankruptcies, administrations, and receiverships
• Acting in Federal and Supreme Court litigation (with or without counsel)
• Drafting pleadings, affidavits, legal opinions, and settlement agreements
• Leading disputes involving security enforcement, voidable transactions, director claims and debt recovery
• Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years PAE in commercial litigation and insolvency
• Strong courtroom experience across Federal and State jurisdictions
• Ability to manage files autonomously and provide strategic direction
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
• Commercial thinker with the ability to balance legal precision with practical solutions
• Desire to work in a lean, agile team with direct client exposure
