The Opportunity:

Far Hill Local Health District is seeking experienced GP Anaesthetists or FANZCA Specialists to provide anaesthetic services across a wide range of surgical specialties.

You will work alongside another anaesthetist on every shift, sharing on-call responsibilities (one doctor per day, alternating).

The role covers obstetrics and offers significant flexibility, with strong remote support available when needed.

Clinical Environment:

• Deliver anaesthesia for elective and emergency cases, including general, O&G, orthopaedics, and HDU procedures
• Provide obstetric anaesthesia in collaboration with skilled midwifery teams
• Enjoy the security of working alongside another anaesthetist at all times
• Access virtual consultant backup for additional clinical support
• Work in a hospital with established protocols and cohesive surgical teams

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA registration as a Specialist Anaesthetist (FANZCA) or GP Anaesthetist
• Comfortable covering a broad range of surgical cases, including obstetrics
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Australian working rights
