The Opportunity:

Armidale Hospital is seeking experienced FANZCA Specialists to provide consultant-level anaesthetic services across a variety of surgical lists, including obstetric, orthopaedic, and emergency cases.

On-call participation will be rostered as required, with support from capable anaesthetic nurses and perioperative teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for anaesthetists looking for high-value, short-term locum work in a dynamic regional setting.

Clinical Environment:

• Provide anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgical procedures
• Manage obstetric anaesthesia and acute pain services
• Collaborate with skilled surgeons, midwives, and operating theatre teams
• Enjoy autonomy in a well-equipped rural referral hospital

Eligibility Criteria:

• AHPRA Specialist Registration
• Fellowship with ANZCA (FANZCA)
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Australian working rights
