Job Description

  • Salaries starting at $80,000 - $120,000 + Super
  • Adult Caseload presenting with Stroke, Parkinson's, MS, MND, dysphasia, aphasia & rare neurological conditions
  • Company car provided and can be home garaged
This Queensland Allied Health organisation supports NDIS, private and home care package clients presenting with a diverse range of neurological conditions. This role is a mix of community (80%), clinic (10%) and telehealth (10%) and offers ample opportunities for networking with other allied health professionals and professional development. 

The Benefits:

  • Engage in community research projects e.g. develop training on dementia 
  • Billable targets tailored to your experience with the maximum being 5 billable hours per day
  • Lots of opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities 
  • Admin support for appointments to manage bookings and billings
  • Once a month whole team get together & in-service training
  • Once every 6 months they hold a whole day multi disciplinary training
  • Core team lunch catch-ups - once every 6 weeks
What you will be doing:

You will be travelling to clients homes and occasionally seeing clients in clinic ad via telehealth conducting assessments, creating tailored therapy plans underpinning evidence based practice, facilitating therapy sessions, recording progress notes and writing NDIS reports when necessary. Your caseload will be a mix of NDIS (60%), HCP (30%) & private clients (10%). 

New Graduate support:
  • Unlimited professional development allowance for external courses
  • Billable targets tailored to your experience - 4 billable hours a day
  • Gradual increase of caseload when you start
  • Weekly supervision 
  • Frequent catch ups with the manager throughout the first 3 months
  • Option to work joint therapist sessions
  • Online chat for support with clinical questions and answers straight away whilst you're on the road

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA membership
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia 
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
