Job Description

Dedicated team of professionals providing family-centered speech pathology services that prioritise children and families needs. With kindness, care, and a genuine passion for working with children, they are committed to helping them realise their true potential.

This role is perfect for a Speech Pathologist looking for structured training, work-life balance and an inclusive positive workplace culture! 

Full-time and part-time options available, the clinic is based in North Canberra. 

What you will be doing:
  • Ages 0-18 managing a varied paediatric caseload including ASD, GDD and other disabilities/developmental delays
  • Services include: language, speech, fluency, literacy, complex communication impairment, feeding and AAC 
  • 90% clinic-based role with occasional outreach visits to schools and homes
  • Collaborating in team meetings
Support/Training 

All new staff members receive a thorough induction program and a gradual increase in the number of clients they are seeing. The clinic runs PD sessions, case conferences as well as 1:1 supervision every Friday morning. You will have supervision with highly experienced Speech Pathologists who are specialised in certain areas.

There is a $2,000 PD budget plus 2 study leave days and the clinic is happy to invest in you with further courses on top of this!

On offer:
  • Salaries between $75,000 - $96,000 + Super
  • Early finish at lunchtime on Fridays for all team members
  • All team members are able to schedule their work week how best suits them
  • Additional annual leave for the Christmas shutdown period
  • 2 days PD leave plus a $2,000 PD allowance
  • A large team of over 20 Speech Pathologists/Allied Health Assistants
  • Up to $3,000 relocation allowance

Requirements/Skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • SPA membership
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • All levels of experience encouraged to apply
