Job Description

Are you an independent Clinical Psychologist looking to join a dynamic team of clinicians in an established private practice?

Our client is a reputable private practice who are part of a larger nationwide organisation, offering a contracting role with flexibility in all areas. There are 10 Psychologists currently on the team, and the successful applicant can expect a tailored caseload, flexible hours, and the option to split sessions between face-to-face and Telehealth.

Key Benefits:
  • Great Remuneration: Take home $150 per session with a 60/40 split, with out of hours appointments charged at higher rates.
  • Plentiful Referrals: The practice accepts referrals from all major pathways, including MHCPs, NDIS, TAC, WorkCover, DVA and internal referrals from the organisation's EAP arm.
  • Flexible Hours: See a minimum of 4 clients and choose your own hours between the times of 8am and 8pm, or 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
  • Culture & Development: Enjoy the independence associated with subcontracting coupled with the option to attend group and peer supervision, PD sessions every few months, and access to clinical supervision within the practice.
  • Admin Support: The admin team are on-site all day to support with booking, billing, rescheduling and more.
Your duties will include:
  • Providing ongoing therapies to clients across the lifespan with a range of common mental health presentations
  • Utilising a combination of evidence-based modalities to individualise therapy and treatment and promote best outcomes
  • Keeping detailed case notes, and maintaining confidential and ethical file management
  • Conducting neurodiversity assessments for clients across the lifespan (optional)
Requirements/Skills:
  • Tertiary Psychology qualification
  • Demonstrable experience with a range of common mental health presentations
  • AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare Provider number
